I had a wonderful 1-to-1 session with Claire on natural dyeing, which I was able to fund through my Arts Council DYCP grant.

Claire was amazing from start to finish. She came down to my studio and gave me a really informative, hands-on session, taking me through the natural dyeing process step by step. She explained everything clearly and made the whole process feel accessible and enjoyable.

Claire also provided me with a really useful list of ingredients and materials to use, which has given me a great starting point to continue experimenting with natural dyes independently.

I would definitely recommend a session with Claire to anyone interested in learning about natural dyeing. Her knowledge, enthusiasm and hands-on approach made the experience really valuable, and I came away feeling inspired and confident to keep exploring the process. Thank you, Claire!

Claire hosted a workshop for my friend's baby shower and everyone loved it! The mum to be left the shower with 12 unique baby grows botanically dyed by her friends. Claire was amazing too, she came to Hulme garden centre to host, set it all up beautifully, pre-treated and provided all of the babygrows, brought everyone prosecco, helped everyone individually on the day and stayed in touch right up until the event to ensure everything was ready. Couldn't recommend it more for a unique baby shower workshop!

The one-to-one botanical silk-dyeing workshop with Claire was relaxed, fun and with a gorgeous result! I love that it can be enjoyed by someone with no experience, but also really educational for the more craft-experienced. Her relaxed style shows you what’s possible, without the pressure to create in a certain way. Lots of leeway is granted to the maker in terms of color and design. I look forward to a future workshop!
