What to Expect at a Three Storey Design Workshop

Botanical Silk Dyeing

In our hands-on workshops, you will learn the ancient Bundle Dyeing technique to craft your own stunning silk scarves or scrunchies. This method uses natural elements like flowers, petals, leaves, and botanical extract dyes to produce intricate and vibrant prints. During the session, your Bundles will be steamed to fix the colors, ensuring your design is both striking and long-lasting.

Experience the Art of Tatakizome

Immerse yourself in the traditional Japanese art of Tatakizome, or Flower Pounding. This fascinating technique involves hammering plants to transfer their pigments and patterns onto a greeting card. It's a perfect way to explore another dimension of natural dyeing and take home a beautifully printed card as a keepsake.
